We Are One at Caldcleugh Center in Greensboro, NC writes and performs excerpts from Survival Stories, a play about African-American women surviving breast cancer to accompany a day of free mammograms for uninsured women. This is a co-sponsored event with Sisters Network, Inc., a national breast cancer awareness organization for African-American women who are disproportionately affected by the disease.  Survival Stories will be performed in its entirety in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Dr. Asabi Howard, theater professor at North Carolina Central University, directs.
