Black Mama Monologues, originally created as a teaching performance for actors approaches its 5th incarnation with the real stories of the women who raised us.  African American women and men come together to talk, walk, think and write through the best, worst and most indelible moments with our mothers.

Interested writers can inquire about subject matter and participate in a series of work sessions to develop scenes, dialogue and the script.  Auditions for the performance will be announced after script has been compiled.

Honoring truth in motherhood, one black woman's story at a time.
