Scrapmettle emerging actors read August Wilson’s King Hedley II on October 23, 2020 at 7 pm.

Based on the characters in Seven Guitars, King Hedley is a man whose self-worth is built on delusion as he peddles stolen refrigerators in the hopes of making enough money to open his own video store. The shadows of his past prevent his seed of his dreams from growing as he seeks retribution for his mother’s lies about the identity of his father.
